Project Details
We used the easier-to-install pod system on 11 properties, which is estimated to have saved the programme over eight weeks. This reduced resident disruption and impact on the local community. Our team also came up with an equally creative but robust solution for re-establishing the foundations on which the pods would sit, which also contributed to time-saving. We hammered four steel rods (helical supports) several metres deep into the ground to support the corners of each pod.
Our team then craned the pods in and secured them into place, adjoining the properties. We installed the appropriate electrical, water and drainage connections. The team completed this bathroom extension project by restoring the patios, gardens and surrounding areas to their original condition.
