CLC Secures £6 Million Per Year Planned Maintenance Contract with Southampton City Council
CLC, part of the Axis CLC group, is proud to announce it has been awarded a major Planned Maintenance contract with Southampton City Council through the Planned Maintenance NHMF Framework, starting in the first quarter of 2026. The contract has a potential duration of five years and a total value of £6 million per year.
Scope of works includes:
- Kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, shower rooms, and wet rooms
- Gas and electric heating systems, including boiler upgrades
- Electrical rewiring
- Roofs, windows, doors, and structural repairs
- Fencing, roads, paving, street furniture, and drainage
- Upgrading communal areas and common parts
- Cyclical redecoration and other planned maintenance
Specialist asbestos works are a key part of the contract, covering planned and major works, abatement, encapsulation, removal, disposal, transportation, consignment, environmental cleaning, and cataloguing of potentially contaminated possessions, all undertaken in strict compliance with regulatory standards.
Works will adhere to the Decent Homes Standard, ensuring homes are safe, modern, and comfortable for residents. All improvements will also follow Secure by Design principles, providing enhanced security and peace of mind across council housing stock.
