Delivering warm and safe homes requires a coordinated approach across compliance, building performance and resident wellbeing.

Delivering warm and safe homes requires a coordinated approach across compliance, building performance and resident wellbeing.

Axis supports housing providers across the UK with integrated services spanning fire safety, damp and mould, and decarbonisation. This joined-up delivery helps clients address multiple priorities while improving conditions for residents.

Fire safety is a core area of expertise. Axis delivers compliance-led programmes that support safe, well-managed buildings. Works are delivered in occupied homes, with a focus on minimising disruption and maintaining high safety standards throughout.

Damp and mould remains a key challenge across the sector. Axis takes a proactive approach, combining detailed surveys with targeted remediation and long-term prevention. Resident engagement is central, ensuring issues are identified early and resolved effectively.

Decarbonisation is an increasing priority for housing providers. Axis delivers retrofit programmes that improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. These works help create warmer homes and lower energy costs for residents.

Bringing these services together allows Axis to deliver coordinated programmes that reduce duplication and improve efficiency. This approach supports compliance, enhances asset performance and delivers better outcomes for residents.

Axis has delivered a wide range of projects across fire safety, damp and mould, and decarbonisation. These case studies demonstrate practical solutions and measurable improvements across diverse housing portfolios.

Axis will be attending the Warm Safe Homes event on 15 April, where its team will share insight and experience from across these service areas. Richard Hughes, Paul Rogers, and Cath McGarry, will be available to discuss how integrated delivery can support housing providers.

Congratulations to Inside Housing on delivering a highly engaging and informative Warm and Safe Homes Summit in London yesterday.

More importantly, the event shone a spotlight on the significant challenges converging at the same time: MEES, the Decent Homes Standard, Awaab’s Law, damp and mould, EPC reform, fire safety, alongside the Warm Homes Plan. These issues are fundamental to creating healthier homes and tackling fuel poverty at scale.

In the current climate, it is more important than ever that we move beyond individual initiatives and focus on workable, coordinated solutions through collaboration across the sector.
