Concept Appointed to Deliver Decarbonisation Project at Northcroft Leisure Centre
Concept has been appointed to deliver a major green upgrade at Northcroft Leisure Centre in Newbury, on behalf of West Berkshire Council. The six-month contract, forms part of a wider scheme to improve the site’s energy efficiency.
Northcroft is a well-used community facility, home to a 25m main pool, a smaller teaching pool, a gym, exercise studios and a heated 50m outdoor summer lido. Works are set to start in 2026 and complete by March 2027, with Everyone Active, who manage the centre for the council, working alongside the project team to keep disruption to a minimum for users throughout.
