Collaborating with Southern Housing to deliver Estate Days across Sussex
In collaboration with our client, Southern Housing Group, we recently delivered an Estate Day for residents at their Farley Bank estate in Sussex. Our staff volunteered a total of 42 hours to connect with residents and provide a range of services, including:
- Completing small repair projects
- Engaging with residents and signposting to additional services and support
- Removing bulky waste from homes and communal areas using skips provided by Axis CLC
The efforts of our volunteers helped to improve resident relations while improving their quality of life through decluttering their living spaces and directing them to further support services.
This Estate Day was part of an ongoing series, and one of 11 we have delivered at Southern Housing estates across Sussex this financial year. Through this extensive collaboration, we have delivered over 340 volunteering hours, with a further 3 Estate Days planned over the coming months.
By collaborating with Southern Housing to deliver these Estate Days, we have helped to improve the lives of residents across their estates, highlighting the importance of strong client partnerships.
