Concept Helps Fund New Livery for SERV Sussex Blood Bike
Concept has donated funds towards new livery for a SERV Sussex blood bike based in the Chichester area, supporting a charity that plays a vital role in the local NHS.
SERV Sussex is a volunteer-run charity that transports blood, blood products and other urgent medical items to hospitals across Sussex. Riders and drivers operate between 7pm and 6am on weekdays, and around the clock at weekends and Bank Holidays. The charity also transports donated human milk for newborn and premature babies. By covering these journeys, SERV Sussex allows hospitals to direct more of their budget towards patient care.
Most of the charity’s work relies on volunteers using their own vehicles, alongside a small fleet of marked bikes and cars funded by donations from the public, businesses and charitable trusts. SERV Sussex has no paid staff, and volunteers cover their own running costs.
Concept is proud to support the volunteer efforts of our own Alisdair, who has ridden with SERV Sussex for over 15 years. Our donation has funded new livery for the Chichester area bike, now marked with the Concept logo.
