CLC Joins Housing Leaders at the CHIC Conference & Exhibition 2026

CLC exhibited at the CHIC Conference & Exhibition 2026, joining housing providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers from across the sector for a day of discussion, knowledge sharing and collaboration at the Telford International Centre.

Hosted by CHIC, this year’s conference centred around the theme “Joining the Dots”, exploring how the housing sector can better connect compliance, sustainability, asset management and operational delivery to create safer, healthier and more efficient homes. The event brought together industry leaders through a programme of keynote sessions, panel discussions and workshops covering some of the most pressing challenges facing social housing today, including building safety, damp and mould, strategic asset management and the journey to net zero.

Representing CLC throughout the exhibition were Hayley Ratcliffe and Leanne Ball, who engaged with housing professionals and sector partners to discuss the delivery of specialist programmes across fire safety, damp and mould remediation, retrofit and wider asset investment works.

A key highlight of the day was the panel discussion, “What Helps Efficient Contractor Service Delivery?”, which featured Richard Hughes, Business Development Director. The session generated strong engagement from delegates and explored the practical challenges and opportunities involved in delivering high-quality services while maintaining compliance, resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

It was great to see everyone who attended the event this week. It was encouraging to see the panel discussions so well attended with an engaged audience. Events like CHIC provide a valuable platform to exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.

Richard Hughes, Business Development Director

The conference reinforced the importance of partnership working across the housing sector. With increasing pressures around compliance, resident safety, decarbonisation and asset performance, the ability to connect expertise and deliver coordinated solutions has never been more important.

As a specialist contractor working across occupied homes and live residential environments, CLC continues to support housing providers through integrated programmes that address multiple challenges simultaneously. Whether delivering fire safety improvements, tackling damp and mould, or supporting decarbonisation objectives, our focus remains on delivering compliant, resident-focused solutions that create long-term value.

We would like to thank CHIC for hosting another successful conference and everyone who visited our stand or contributed to the discussions throughout the day. The insights shared and connections made will help continue important conversations across the sector as we work together to improve homes and communities.
