Employability Day For Axis CLC Client Residents Looking For Jobs
Recently, we invited Axis CLC client residents to attend an employability day at our Stratford office, where we provided careers advice and guidance. Attendees represented a range of our client partners, including Clarion, Peabody, Westminster City Council and L&Q.
The day began with an introduction to Axis CLC covering:
- Who we are and what we do as a business
- Our sectors, values, and national reach
- Pathways into employment
- Current and future career opportunities with Axis CLCÂ
The residents then took part in a DIY workshop supported by two of our apprentices, giving them an opportunity to explore careers in the trades and ask questions about life as an apprentice.
The event also featured a CV and interview workshop delivered by two volunteers from our Talent Acquisition team. Residents were provided with tailored advice and guidance to help strengthen their professional skill set.
The day concluded with an inspiring talk from Artem Silonov, Chief Commercial Officer, who shared encouraging insights for those seeking employment, considering a career change, or starting their professional journey.
The employability day was a great success with 100% of attendees reporting that they felt more confident in their employability skills after the session. Thank you to our volunteers for supporting the delivery of an insightful and valuable session.
