Transforming Void Management with Innovative 360° Housing Technology
We have taken a major step forward in redefining how housing repairs and maintenance are delivered using OpenSpace 360° visual intelligence technology, a ground breaking innovation that’s transforming void management and property maintenance.
First piloted with Warwick District Council, the technology allows our teams to capture, and review detailed 360° imagery of properties remotely. We can now complete inspections in 30 minutes, down from 1 hour, and site visits have been reduced by at least one-third, as teams can review imagery in depth remotely rather than making multiple trips. This digital-first approach has improved efficiency, reduced carbon emissions, and enabled homes to be made available to residents faster.
By replacing traditional photos with interactive, high-resolution imagery, we provide a clear, verifiable record of every property. This has enhanced transparency, reduced disputes by over 33%, and improved compliance reporting across all managed voids.
Following the success of the pilot, the system has been rolled out across PA voids and will soon be implemented to other projects, delivering consistent improvements in efficiency and quality across our housing clients.
